Building the Cybersecurity Workforce of the Future

This presentation was given by Dr. Kantor at several different cybersecurity conferences sponsored by several different companies and professional organizations in Charlotte including Harris Teeter, Microsoft, TASCA, and ISC2. At the time this presentation was made, Cybersecurity education and certifications to demonstrate competency were both nascent.  Obama administration efforts to drive out new competency frameworks and performance-based assessments are discussed, as well as the current status of the cybersecurity workforce in 2014-2016.
